Every Roofing Service We Offer in Chippewa Falls
Chippewa Falls Roofing Co. does one thing. We do not sell siding, windows or sunrooms, and nobody here will try to turn a roof repair into a remodel. That focus is deliberate: a roof in this climate has enough ways to go wrong that it deserves a contractor's full attention.
This page is a map. Each service below has its own page with the detail: what the work involves, how it is priced and what to expect. If you are not sure which one applies, read the short descriptions, or skip all of it and ask for a free roof estimate. Telling you what the roof needs is the first part of our job.
Residential Roof Repair and Replacement
Most calls come down to one question: can this roof be fixed, or is it finished?
Roof Repair
Leaks traced to the source and fixed: pipe boots, chimney and wall flashing, valleys, ice dam damage and missing shingles.

Roof Replacement
Full tear-off down to the deck, new decking where it is needed, ice and water shield at the eaves, and attic venting that matches the roof.
Explore roof replacementA repair is the right answer more often than people expect. Leaks usually start at a pipe boot, a chimney, a wall or a valley, and those can be rebuilt without touching the rest of the roof. When the shingles themselves are worn out, a replacement means a full tear-off to the deck, new decking where boards are soft, ice and water membrane at the eaves, and attic ventilation that matches the roof.
Storm, Hail and Emergency Roof Repair in the Chippewa Valley
Summer thunderstorms bring hail and straight-line wind. Winter brings ice dams and limbs heavy with snow.
Hail & Storm Damage
Free hail and wind damage inspections with photos you keep, and a plain answer on whether it is storm damage or normal wear.

Emergency Roof Repair
Water coming in now? We tarp and dry-in the open area, photograph the damage, then quote the permanent repair.
Explore emergency repairThese two are related but not the same. Storm damage work starts with a free inspection and dated photos, and an honest read on whether you are looking at hail and wind damage or normal aging. Emergency work is for a roof that is open or actively leaking: the first job is a tarp or temporary dry-in, and the permanent repair follows once things are dry.
Metal and Asphalt Shingle Roofing
The two materials on nearly every pitched roof in Chippewa County.
Asphalt Shingle Roofing
Architectural and Class 4 impact-resistant shingles, with algae-resistant options for shaded and lakeside roofs.

Metal Roofing
Standing seam and exposed-fastener steel for homes, garages, pole barns and machine sheds, detailed for snow and ice.
Explore metal roofingAsphalt shingles cost less up front and suit almost any roof shape. Architectural shingles are the standard, and Class 4 impact-resistant and algae-resistant lines are worth a look in hail-prone or shaded spots. Metal costs more and lasts longer. Standing seam is the system for homes, and exposed-fastener steel covers garages, pole barns and machine sheds. Each page compares the options plainly so you can decide before anyone visits.
Commercial and Flat Roofing: EPDM, TPO and Modified Bitumen
Flat and low-slope roofs are a separate craft from shingles.
Storefronts, shops, offices and multi-unit buildings mostly have membrane roofs: EPDM rubber, TPO or modified bitumen. We repair seams, punctures and flashing, recover roofs that are sound underneath, and replace the ones that are not. It starts with a walk of the roof and a written assessment of its condition.
How Every Roofing Job Works
The same three steps, whichever service you need.
-
Inspect
We look at the roof itself: shingles or panels, flashing, pipe boots, valleys and vents, plus the attic side where we can get to it. You get photos of what we find.
-
Written estimate
You get the scope, the materials and the price in writing, with repair and replacement options laid out when both make sense. Take the time you need to decide.
-
Install & clean up
We protect the landscaping, do the work as written, and tell you first if we uncover something like rotted decking. Then we haul the debris and run magnets for nails.
Questions About Our Roofing Services
I do not know which roofing service I need. Where do I start?
Start by telling us what you are seeing: a stain on a ceiling, shingles in the yard, a roof that looks worn, water coming in. We look at the roof and tell you whether it is a repair, a storm claim worth raising with your insurer, or a roof that is due for replacement. You do not have to diagnose it yourself before you call.
Do you only work on houses?
No. We work on homes, garages, pole barns and machine sheds, and on commercial buildings with flat or low-slope roofs. The materials differ, with asphalt shingles, standing seam and exposed-fastener steel, EPDM rubber, TPO and modified bitumen all in the mix, but roofing is the only trade we do.
Do you install siding or windows, or take on other exterior work?
No. We are a roofing company and we stay with roofing: repair, replacement, metal, shingle, flat roofs and storm damage. If your project needs other trades, you will want a separate contractor for those parts.
Is the roof estimate really free?
Yes. Estimates and roof inspections are free, including storm damage inspections. You get the scope of work, the materials and the price in writing, and you are under no obligation to go ahead.
How do I choose between repairing a roof and replacing it?
A repair makes sense when the problem is in one place and the roofing around it still has life in it. Replacement makes sense when leaks keep appearing in new spots, shingles are curling or brittle across the roof, or there are already two layers on the house. We show you photos of what we find so you can see which case you are in.
Which roofing material lasts longest in Wisconsin weather?
It depends on the product and on how it is installed, so treat any single number with caution. As a general guide, the home inspector association InterNACHI lists architectural asphalt shingles at about 30 years and metal roofing at 40 to 80 years, and it describes those figures as guidelines rather than guarantees. Ventilation, ice protection and flashing work decide whether a roof reaches the top or the bottom of its range.

Not Sure Which Service You Need?
That is normal. Call, text a photo or send the form, and we will look at the roof and tell you.
